Cindy,
you picked a bad time to set up the series. first you will be running in conflict with winternationals so you will have no one of any high caliber that weekend. ive been hearing about this series through people for about 3 weeks now. at first i did consider having my team enter because it would be an awsome tune up for state cup. the other problem is that corona runs on sundays so that loses you some of the top teams around to begin with. Brea plays monday night so i dont anyone from our league will show especially since our playoffs can include the weekend and start near the same time as your tournament series. if you put it off untill after state cup i am sure you will get a lot more interest. i do hope it does go well for you because it is a great idea. if it would have been planned better you would probably be sold out already.

Hi Cindy,

Please re-post this message on the new "Commercial" Message Board, and I'll get the tourney info listed in IHC's Calendar section as soon as I can.

Thank you for your cooperation. Please say hello to Jim Thompson for me.

It is unfortunate that Corona runs thier high school programs on the weekend. It might be
possible for us to accomodate Corona based teams with Saturday only tournaments.
Jamie Sparks of Brea has told us he supports the tournament and IS sending teams to us.
Fliers are available at his rink. It is obvious you havn't seen our schedule. No tournaments
are scheduled on holiday weekends or conflict with the Winternationals. Winternationals are scheduled for January 11-16. Our January tournaments are scheduled on January 20,21,27, and 28.
We have been recieving calls from teams interested in the tournament series from all over
California.
