Hihos or Gloves

Hi
For the new season next year I will be getting mainly all new gear. Is it better to have really good skates and okay gloves or have okay skates with really good gloves. I can either get Hihos and use my Bauer 300 gloves (yes I know that they are bad) or use Shadows with Abec 9 and have Easton synergy 1100 gloves?
So yeah.....Which will improve my game the most gloves or skates?

the right pair of skates will help you a lot more then gloves. as long as they fit right.

Not trying to sound like a wiseass but, more practice and less worrying about equipment will improve your game the most.
