Stupid question for all of you..

If both are brand new pairs, would you suggest

Mission HE950 for $229? or
1999 Mission Proto VSI Team for 99?

Both are great deals, and while I know the He950's have eyelet problems, so I remember the VSI's did also.. Even if the VSI's are brand new, there would be no real warranty on them, while the He950's still have that year..

Which skates have your vote on:
Stiffness?
Durability?
Performance?

Is it even close?

Thanks

i have 99 proto vsi's. got em on ebay last year brand new for 35 bucks. they have the metal eyelets like regular skates and no problems after almost a year. i know of quite a few peole who have the helium model skates and had problems with breaking the plastic eyelets and loosing they're stiffness quickly. i love my skates and my vote would be for the vsi's.

I would go the VSI....I am 250 lbs and still skating on my original VSI's!!!

Best skate I ever wore and I was sponsored by Easton and Bauer!
