I am huge Flyers fan and ecstatic about Forsberg. A little bumbed about Roenick. They just traded Roenick to the Kings for nothing (2006 3rd round draft pick).

You sure, What I heard was they traded Roenick and a 2006 3rd Draft pick which was from Nashville FOR future considerations, they didnt trade him for a third round pick.

Hey wolves10,

I'm a huge Kings' fan, and except for Jeremy's big mouth, I'm stoked to have him!

Now that he's on your team, you'll learn to love his big mouth. What a character !!

Hey wolves10,

I've always been a big Roenick fan, and I was fortunate enough to meet and interview him at his and Chris Chelios' charity golf tournament when both were still with the Chicago Blackhawks.

However, I think his most recent comments about fans were unwarranted and unwise.

It's time to forgive and forget. With all the new lineups in the NHL this season, I think it's going to be a fascinating year.

Go Kings!

I would bet Philly to take it too, but those are some heavy odds to lay. I would offer even odds. Just too many balanced teams plus it is a long season and a lot can happen

How was that interview ? Is he an approachable guy ? I must have missed those fan comments. By any chance, do you remember his quotes

Hi wolves10,

I don't remember, to tell the truth. I was working for Roller Hockey Magazine at the time, so it must have been about 1993. What I do remember is watching him play golf -- amazing. During the day, in which he consumed close to a 24-pack of Coors Light (cans), he shot from his knees, using the back side of the club, etc., and all the while his shots went a couple hundred yards, straight down the fairway. Amazing!

I remember him as being friendly and approachable. It was also neat to be able to meet Stan Mikita, one of my childhood heroes.

Sincerely,
