Each team played two pool play games yesterday, and things are shapping up for a battle to the wire.
After their rough outting at TORHS, the TOUR Bordercats 88 are looking good (2-0), with wins against AKS Mission 88 and TOUR Breakaway 89's. At TORHS, they were way better than their record indicates.
The TOUR Smoke also seem to have rebounded from a poor outting at TOURS and are off to a good start at 2-0.
Can anyone tell me who's in goal for the Bordercats? TNT played for them at TORHS, just wondering if he's between the pipes for NARCh.
8 out of the 15 teams make it to the quarterfinals. So, a couple of teams with a 2-2 record should make it into the playoff round. However, as is normally the case, a couple 2-2 teams won't as goals against is the first tie-breaker.
Keep an eye on TOUR Breakaway 89's, with two games today against two teams that are 0-2 and both played TORHS AA Bantam, they should be primed for a good seed and a run in the playoffs.
Final 4 Prediction? (In no specific order) TMD 88 White, TOUR Blast, TOUR Breakaway 89's, TOUR Bordercats 88.
