i saw on sportscenter this morning that baseball and softball are out for 2012 and its between rugby, golf, roller sports, and one other, but i forget what it is. What do you think our chances are?

FYI....With two slots open on the program, the IOC voted from a waiting list of five sports: golf, rugby, squash, karate and roller sports. Squash and karate were nominated for inclusion but were rejected overwhelmingly.

where did you find those were the two nominated? they ALL were decided against from what i read.

Those were the two that would go to vote out of the five but niether was admitted.

WHERE did you see THOSE two were selected, but turned down?There was NONE accepted for NOW it said. It never said only these two WERE selected and THEN turned down meaning that Roller was never considered.... correct?

its kind of funny.... on the IOC site there was not a word of those two being put forth. hmmmmmm yet ESPN said they were...thanks for the link...

from what i am reading on this site, even if roller sports did get selected, it wouldnt include hockey. only an inline marathon.
