Charity Iron Man Tournament
To benefit
Jeff Krukowski and the Krukowski Family

To all of those who do not know Jeff Krukowski he is 20 years old and has played hockey at Extremes since he was 12. A few months ago he was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.

What is Lymphoblastic Lymphoma? It is a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of the body?s immune system that helps fight infections. It is a complex system made up of organs such as bone marrow, spleen, thymus and lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are found throught the body. Lymph is a colorless fluid that circulates through the lymphatic system carrying lymphocytes. Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell and are an essential part of the body?s defense against infection and disease. Jeff is currently being treated with Chemotherapy weekly to help battle this disease.Jeff has 2 brothers, Scott and Chris, who both have also played at Extremes in various leagues since they were younger. As a way to help out the Krukowski family and give back to them for their years of loyalty I am putting together this Charity Iron Man Tournament to help them with their medical costs while Jeff recovers.

The Iron man (4 vs 4 with a goalie and no subs; 10 minute games) will be held on Saturday July 9th starting at 6pm at Extremes in Bridgewater, NJ. The Tournament, which will be a Draft Iron Man with ALL proceeds going to the Krukowski family, is open to all players wishing to attend. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games at a cost of $20 per player. Each player should bring a black and white jersey and show up no later than 5:30pm.

I thank you in advance for helping out a fellow hockey player and his family in their time of need.
