Hi Folks,
Bad and good news from the California Roller Hockey Centers:
***
Dear CARHC and Bulls members:
I would like to apologize to all of you on behalf of the unprofessional conduct
of our retail store tenant, Hockey Giant. Hockey Giant has decided to terminate
their lease with CARHC and instead operating through the month of May which they
could have done to service our wide customer base and tournaments, they have
chosen to leave the premises and leave us without a retail service for your
hockey needs.
We are working on this immediately to bring a new tenant in and to be able to
have an "operational" pro shop within 7 days.
Please note that Hockey Monkey is located in Santa Ana, and also Big 5 Sporting
goods on Alton Parkway, Irvine can also help temporarily meet customer needs.
As the general manager, and knowing Hockey Giant, I find it very disheartening
that while they have the right to terminate their lease, they could of finished
the month of May and then left the premises, servicing our customers for 20 more
days. For reasons only they know, they chose once again as they did with the
Gretzky/CARHC centers, to leave the facility in a state of temporary limbo and
chaos.
As we were able to conquer that difficulty, we will also conquer this one again
as well!
Hang in there, we promise to have a new tenant soon!
Thank you for your patience,
Doug Jones

Dear CARHC members and Bulls members:
I just got out of the meeting where we have come to terms with The Penalty Box
to run the Irvine location.
Jason at the Penalty Box has agreed to take over operations and get the store
going by next weekend. I want to thank him and his operation for their
cooperation and for stepping in to help Irvine get it's customer needs met.
I also want to thank Mission hockey for offering to help Penalty Box fully stock
it's store with Mission hockey supplies. As we all know Mission is the official
supplier to MPC Bulls hockey club.
Anyway, look for the Penalty Box to operate in Irvine soon!
Thank you,
Doug Jones
