There has been a couple of tournaments that I saw some younger Jr. Gladiator teams but what ever happened to the group that won Narch 16U Gold last year. I think some of them were Mariotti, Houser, Keane, Donahue and Scott. These guys were pretty good but the team seems to have disappeared.

I know at least a few of them play ice hockey. Not sure if they were just wrapping up the season or what. If I happen across anyone who would know I'll get the answer.

I just talked to a friend who told me that Marriotti only played for the Jr. Gladiators at the Narch regional and in Cinncy. He usually only plays for the Bad Apples, which are a Platinum level team. So, what about the rest of the team? Did CJ Yoder leaving Marple have anything to do with the total collapse of the program.

I assume your referring to the 1st year 18U Jr. Gladiators?
You got it Speed, they are just beginning their season due to Ice, Jobs, other responsibilities etc?
As the guys have gotten older, there are more things that sidetrack them so we all decided in the fall we wouldn?t start till now. We?ve had a few practices and will be doing TopCat this weekend as the first tournament of the season. You may have seen a few of them around with ECFury or the Bandits during the downtime and at Jr. World Tryouts.
You?ll see pretty much the same guys since their 1st year 14?s season?
Brian Scott, Jon Donohue, Bobby MacLaughlin, Dane Houser, Eric Keene, Mark Orlando, Sean O?Sullivan, James Schaffer and our Coach John Holmes with the addition of Matt Swingle from last years 88?s team.
It was nice that Donnie asked to play with us last year for Narch as we lost one of our regulars. It was also nice winning gold with all but one of our Jr. Gladiator veterans after watching them play hard and stick together for all those years.

CJ was ask to coach our 10U?s for the 2004-2005 season and that was the extent of any involvement with the Jr. Gladiator program so no?he hashad nothing to do with any of our other teams.

Thanks for asking! Looking forward to some great competition and yet another fun year!

Just saw the results @ Topcat's site. Looks like they lost an overtime game in the final.
