That time again to get NEW skates for Inline. Where is the current best place to buy from? I am looking at Tour Beemers or if they still have any around, the G-90's.

I would go with the Beemers....but at a local shop..they fit differently from the G series, so I would not assume equal sizing or feel between the "G" series and the Beemers. Pricing seems to still be pretty uniform throughout the industry.

The Beemers and Blue Max's were designed to fit more like the 962's I believe.

Thanks Mike....how different are the Beemers in size? There is no good inline shop around here and I dont have any games near a good pro shop anytime soon.

They generally fit similar to a CCM or newer Bauer, one size larger than a Nike..IE size 8 Nike HiHo is almost identical to a size 9 Tour....Size 10 - 10 .5 Mission....size 9 Tour.....I think the length of the footbed is the same as the G series size per size, but the new Tours are wider fitting from what I have heard....with a different insole(arch) height.

What size did you wear in the older series?...What running shoe size? My son wears a size 10 - 10.5 running shoe depending on the make, but a size 9 in the Tour fits him perfectly...His Nexeds were size 9's, Grafs size 9's, and the Nike HiHo's size 8's. His older CCM 952's and 1052's were size 8.5's but....he was still growing then.

Hope this helps bracket the sizing for you...then it's just the best price.

Now I use the G-90's in 8.5
My CCM Pro tacks for ice are 8.5, Grafs are 9's.
I wear a 9.5 - 10 shoe. I was going to get the Beemers in 8.5 if I go with them.

That sounds about right...Simon's size 9 Grafs were a little on the tight side for him, but the Beemer size 9's were perfect.

If you got all your sizes figured out then the best place to buy is on the internet. hockeymonkey.com & hockeygiant.com are the 2 best places that I know of.
