Hi Folks,

At the upcoming 2005 Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships, you can follow the games live, as IBSU.net will once again provide live play-by-play!

The NCRHA has announced that Bill Courtland will be back in the booth as the official play-by-play man for the 2005 Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships, held April 13-17 at OD's Sports Complex in Fort Collins, Colorado. This year will mark Courtland's third straight behind the mic at the pinnacle event of the collegiate roller hockey season. Hosting over fifty teams, the 2005 Championships feature four divisions of play and over 700 participating student-athletes.

A native of southern California, Courtland's diverse sportscasting resume spans several types of media, including work at national championship events for USA Hockey, USA Hockey InLine, and NARCh. He has also served as the play-by-play man for the Long Beach Ice Dogs (ECHL) and Cal Lutheran University. He owns his own Internet broadcast radio station, available at IBSU.net.

The broadcast schedule will feature as many teams during round-robin play as possible and most championship round games. In addition to live Internet radio, NCRHA and PowerPlayStats are proud to announce that live box scores will be available through the duration of the event. Follow along with your favorite team in realtime!

How to View and Listen to Live Games (it's free!)
You will need software capable of playing .pls files. We recommend WinAmp or a similar player, available free at http://www.winamp.com. Once you have downloaded and installed the software, look for the orange speaker icon next to any of the games on the event schedule. Click on the icon and enjoy! Bill interacts with listeners via email during broadcasts - feel free to contact him at mailto:[email protected]@ibsu.net.

To view live box scores, simply visit the 2005 Championships home page at http://www.ncrha.org/championships. Games happening live are listed as "score boards" on the right-hand side of the page. If there is an orange speaker icon under the game, you're in luck and can listen to Bill Courtland's play-by-play live as well!
