Does anyone know how Quickchange skates size...I wear a 9/9.5 in Tour currently and would like to order a pair of goalie skates from them sometime this week but I get no return emails from them and I was hoping someone on this board could help me out. Thanks.

According to their website, they run a size to half a size off. If you're currently wearing a ten shoe, they recommend a 9. If you're in a ten and a half, they recommend a 10.

Thats correct. Size to a half size. I wear 9 shoe. In qc, 8 was to small and 9 was a little to big. They don't have 1/2 sizes. On the goalie skates, changing wheels is a real chore with the washer system they have. Friend on mine loved the boot, but got so fed up with the frames and wheels (goalie skates) he kept the boots and put an old set
of frames on from his Bauers.

There are 2 different "systems" of Quickchange Goalie skates-one for people who also skate out and one for goalies only.

Greg Goekel, the company founder and president is currently on the East Coast and may not have had a chance to respond to your emails. You can contact him directly by phone at 1-877-641-1804, that is his office phone but transfers to his cell when he is on the road.

The washer system the other reader talks about has been changed for this years models to a 1 part channel washer (instead of a 2 part collar and washer that formed a channel). If you wear a 9 in Tour skates you will either wear an 8 or 9 in Quickchange, Greg will be able to give you the best idea on sizing.

just give him a call.

Anyone ever have a problem with Quick Change chassis bending?

My daughter plays on a 92 girls team that uses Quickchange skates. Two of the girls twisted the frames slightly under on a hard stop. One of them tore the boot at the outside bottom edge where it attaches to the sole.
They said the boots were comfortable.
