Why is it that when I look at other regions websites do I see a full year schedule and updates such as standings and scoring leaders?? We have the biggest and best region in the country, yet our website hasn't been updated since 4/18. That's exactly 5 monthes. 5 monthes!!!! Now my captain says he heard we might be going to either Ohio State or Illinois State, but he's not sure. It's only two weeks away. Also, why was the NCT2000 page never finished?? No scoring leaders, no All-tournament teams, nothing. Well, I'll get off the soapbox now. Thanks for your time.

I totally agree with you. I have been checking NCT2000 every so often to see who made the all-tournament team and scoring leaders. I know for a fact it does not take this long to add up statistics. Hopefully thier webmaster or whatever will read this and update it soon

If you are having problems with what is being displayed on the crhl website or the regional websites please contact you regional league director. This is not the place to voice your concerns. Please have some degree of appreciation for the people who put the hard work in to making the CRHL happen by not trashing them on a public message board without talking to them first. A little courtesy to those DONATING their time is not to much to ask.

For your information, I've been trying to contact my league director for the last 3 months and all I've gotten is one e-mail with nothing useful to say and his answering machine. The fact that you guys are volunteering your time is no excuse as to why the stats for nationals are 6 months behind. Also, I think asking for a schedule.......no, a LOCATION for the first weekend (which is only two weeks away), is not unreasonable at all. The fact that I cannot get any type of response to my repeated e-mails and phone calls leaves me no alternative but to try to appeal in the only other forum available.

Andrew,
i deeply respect all you have done for college roller hockey. i do however have to agree with the complaint. you volunteer your time but yet for the CRHL to continue to grow and be functional you must be timely in your releases of schedules. also you have had enough time to update nationals. i think that is a pretty sad excuse. i would love to see the CRHL grow but whats going on can not happen if it is going to. good luck to everyone this season

Well, I'm not sure why exactly you are having trouble finding out where the first weekend is. It's going to be in Fort Wayne. I received that in an e-mail (along with all the other club presidents) a while ago. I'm not on my home computer, so I can't check the date - but I'm thinking that e-mail (about the kickoff meeting and the Fort Wayne opener) came a week and a half or two weeks ago.

But even if you are unhappy with the way things are going, posting complaints on a public forum such as this is (at least to me) not the best way of solving the problem.

I think you are missing the point. Yes the stats from nationals are not up. I don't know why -- they have not been given to me yet. I am not defending that point.

The schedule for the midwest has been available for a few weeks now. Why you do not have it I do not know. I am not defending that point either.

THE POINT IS -- this is not the place to conduct the internal business of the CRHL. It is unprofessional and EXTREMELY childish. If you cannot understand the inappropriateness of this behavior then I am at a loss of words. This has nothing to do with your concerns, but rather your way of handling them.

Now -- if you would like to know more about the CRHL-MR schedule, please contact our league director or email me and I will get your concerns addressed. As for the stats from nationals, I will post them as soon as they are made available to me.

If you would like to respond to this issue in more detail, please EMAIL me or CALL me and we can discuss it.

Thank you very much for making this a public issue. I am sure the CRHL administration and your fellow teams are very impressed.

I think everyone is getting the wrong idea. I'm not here to criticize anyone personally.......I'm just pointing out some of the problems I've had and would like to know what others think. From the looks of it, a lot of people agree, so instead of telling me I'm wrong, maybe you should consider my suggestions and change some of the problems. I understand you can't post stats if you don't have them, but that's the whole point. Where are they?? Someone must have them. So don't take it so personally.

The counter-point to your "suggestion" that was made wasn't that you are wrong persay, but that the way that you went about airing your view was wrong. A public message board is not always a good medium in which to express your views. You should have attempted to handle this internally within the CRHL or your specific region by talking to the directors or other people in charge instead of posting this on the Inline Hockey Central message board. A league such as the CRHL must have a professional look to it. That means that the league itself, those who run it and all those who participate in it must have a professional attitude. This is one of the main factors that people use to decide whether an organization such as the CRHL is run well and run professionally. That is the argument that was being made to counter what you've said.

Unless I can't read, I believe this board is designed to allow players to discuss inline hockey. No where does it say you have to talk about everything that is positive. What none of you want to acknowledge is that we've tried to talk to the higher ups at CRHL and I never get an answer. Now that I've used this as an outlet to let others know about it, we've been contacted and given most of the information I wanted. So, I'd say it accomplished exactly what I wanted.
