Hey,
I have used these Black Beauty Sticks and they are great. The blade is much flatter on the ice surface and it is custom measured for your height and preference.
I think that most pros get their lie angle and the flatness of their blade to their own individual specs.
If you buy a standard blade in a store, it is a "rocker" blade and you must manipulate the stick up and down with your hands to have either the heel or the toe on the surface, not both.
The black beauty sticks are custom lie, and they are flatter on the bottom and give you a huge advantage. There is more of your blade on the ground.
