Site Announced for 2005 College Roller Hockey National Championships
Fort Collins, Colorado set to host over 50 teams in April

The National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association proudly announces the 2005 Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships, to be held April 13-17, 2005 at OD's Sports Crossing in Fort Collins, Colorado. The event will bring over 50 teams in 4 divisions (Division I, Division II, Division III, and B Division) together to compete for the title of National Champion. The teams selected to participate in the tournament will be announced on March 10 of 2005, in what is being dubbed "Selection Friday" for the NCRHA. A website will be released as the event nears with details on travel, hotels, and event specifics.

Last season, teams from the Great Plains Collegiate Inline Hockey League swept the championships, which were held at the Anaheim Hockey Club in Anaheim, California. Lindenwood University claimed their second Division I National Championship, the University of Missouri Saint Louis defeated Neumann College to earn the Division II crown, Saint Charles Community College won their 5th consecutive Division III National Championship, and Lindenwood University B took home the first ever B Division National Championship. You can view the results from the 2004 National Championships.

This will be the seventh consecutive year that college roller hockey will crown national champions, going back to 1999. It will be the first time that the event will be held in a location within the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Roller Hockey Association, which was established in 2003.
