Hey when u play does the bottom of your blade get all cut up? this is happening and i wonder if fully taping it would be okay. Thanx. Yo Queiro Taco Bell!

Yup. I tape mine around the whole blade partly because of the way I shoot. Yeah it does drag a little but not enough to affect my stickhandling.

stick wax or even a regular candle will reduce the "dragging"

if you use a composite blade or even a composite covered like the vector wood core ones that doesn't happen. but wax is a good idea too.

No the composite blades do not wear, they just split.....Wax can help because it serves as a sort of lubricant reducing the friction and heat, and delays the splitting seen on so many composite blades used on sports floors.

Si,Si. Thanx for the responses. I'll see if there is any candles I can use. If not, does SurfWax work? I've got plenty.

almost any harder wax.... not sticky. it will tend to soften from the heat of friction as the bottom of the stick slides hard across the floor/surface, creating a slight lubricating effect. Note this is for sport surfaces only, not concrete or asphalt...there is nada that will help there..at least for any composite/graphite or wood blades.
