Anyone who wants to see two teams battle it out this Saturday night, at 8PM, the Marple Sports Arena, is welcome to come out. We had a decent crowd come out to Marple on Saturday night as the Ottakringer beat the Sting 17-6. It was a fairly close game in the first half but the Sting could not pull it out with the skaters they had. Kos has the scoresheet, and the usual suspects from NJ scored...Beauchamp, Sullivan, Pauly Walnuts, Bobby Baccala, you get the picture....Not too much hitting in this game as both teams played a pretty clean game. Other than that, nothing much else to say...Comments are welcome....
Thank you to the VA beach crew who came up for the game...Next game for both teams is currently in negotiations.....

As much as our full lineup wanted to beat up the Ottakringer ( ha ha), we restrained ourselves. Although, I think Brandon wanted to take on Ian, but Ian knew Brandon wanted all the playing time he could handle. As for the playoff matchups, I like the Ottakringer's chances beating the thunder. If Kos gets his group together ( all 12 of his guns), they will be hard to stop. One thing I know about that Glads game against the Wolves, the Glads will also have a full lineup. I am not sure they had a full lineup all year, but guaranteed they will bring their hired hands on for the semi-finals. It should be real interesting what the finals will hold....Good to hear from you bobby...

yeah, the playoffs look pretty good (I was just reading my "XIHL Insider", so you know I've got the low-down on all the matchups - lol)

The wolves have got one hell of a lineup and should give the glads, full roster or not, a heck of a series.

The Kringer/thunder matchup looks pretty even on paper... good luck Kos, it'd be nice to see the Elephants win in all. Just because I like your jerseys :)

Hey I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict the Gladiators are gonna win again. Yocum will be playoff MVP and of course my favorite XIHL player. I have all his hockey cards and the limited edition Yokes bobblehead.

Thanks Bob, Should be a different look to some of the teams. I know from my end Mike Cianfrani and Lucas Urso, (both really GOOD players for me) didnt play enough games to qualify for the playoffs. The same with Marples Mike Jacobs etc etc as well as the other teams Missing guns. Just wont be the same old faces this year in the playoffs.

I was sure the price of that card was going to sky rocket on Sunday. I thought Buffalino was gonna get tossed for throwing a haymaker in championship game. Maybe the Cats would have been better off, yokes prolly cant shoot the puck into the netting like buff, i dont think i can.
