2005 WINTER HIGH SCHOOL ROLLER HOCKEY LEAGUE

General Information


12 games, 2 practices plus playoffs

Games played Tuesday-Thursday nights

Top 4 teams in each age division make playoffs

Trophies for Champions, Runners-up

Teams must have matching uniforms with numbers

An adult coach must be present on the bench during games

Home team must provide scorekeepers

All games played in our indoor heated/air conditioned, sport court facility


Mandatory Equipment

? HECC approved helmet with face mask and chin strap and internal mouthpiece

? Skates must have flush to frame axel/bolt system (no brakes)

? Regulation hockey stick (no plastic blades)

? Regulation hockey gloves (palms must be covered)

? Protective Cup: a protective girdle with hip protection and elbow pads


Individual Fee:

Team Fee : $1250

Includes referee fees

Full payment due by January 7, 2005

Dates and Times

? Games will be played on Tuesday-Thursday evenings

? Mandatory Coach and Team Rep meeting January 4, 2005

? Season starts 1/11/05


League Rules

? All teams & players must register with USA Hockey In-line and provide proof of membership

? USA Hockey Inline rules will apply

? Games will be 2 (two) 25 minute running time halves (stop time in last 2 minutes of a 2 goal game)

? 10 goal mercy rule in second half will be in effect

? Fighting is not tolerated, first offense results in a 3 game suspension & second offense results in immediate expulsion from league. This includes parents and coaches

? Team rosters must be submitted at the teams first game. No additions can be made without notifying the league director

? All players must submit a copy of their school ID

Flyers Skate Zone is the host facility of the 2005 USA Hockey Inline Youth National Tournament.
