Danny
This is a great opportunity, but why does USA Hockey schedule this when many players at this age are involved in ice regionals or ice nationals. It's beyond me, I've heard that USARS is doing the same thing around the same time in Colorado. These dates are too close to the big ice tournaments that mean college scouts for most of these girls.

This is a valid concern.

The short answer is that there is simply no "good" time that would be perfect for all the considerations and opportunities that players now have in this country.

We certainly understand that there is a segment of our girl players that might have a time/schedule conflict with one of their other interests.

We hope that, in terms of having the ability to plan ahead, most girls will allot resources to include this event on their spring/summer schedule.

Hope to see everybody out on the blue floor...

Aaron Kriss, US National team assistant coach, today has confirmed, that in response to multiple voices from the ice hockey segment of our community, the USAHIL Women's National Junior Evaluation program event has been moved to May 20-22.

We want every girl to have the opportunity to be one of the best, out on the blue floor.

Please note that, to enable girls who also play ice to attend without a schedule conflict, the USAHIL Women's Junior program camp has been changed to May 20-22...

We hope to see the best girls in the country out on the blue floor...

Thanks!

Still have a few spots left for this exciting event! Please allow me to invite all our girls, '91 to '86, to come out and play in this camp! May 18-20!

After talking to girls from all over the country, we feel this is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime event! (although, yeah, we hope to do it every year, if not at Nations-Tobin in successive years, then certainly somewhere else...) We have girls already signed up from both coasts, the Southwest, the Midwest, the Southeast, Hawaii, and just about every point in between. This is going to be a true, national representation of the state-of-the-art when it comes to Girls' Elite play...

Hope to see everybody out on the blue floor!
