Yes the day has finally come...the State Wars Hockey website is live. Please visit us at www.statewarshockey.com to check out all the information regarding the "new force in roller hockey"...State Wars.

We have currently booked the dates and locations of
28 state tryouts. You can see all the tryout dates and locations at www.statewarshockey.com. All registration for state tryouts will begin on our website on November 1st.

STATE WARS is pleased to announce that it has signed a long term deal with the beautiful new 5 rink POWERade Iceport in Cudahy, Wisconsin. POWERade Iceport will be the offical home of State Wars for many years to come.
?The POWERade Iceport is the nation?s premiere hockey facility so it?s only natural that State Wars, the nation?s premiere roller hockey event makes its debut there,? said Jason Domitrovic, State Wars National Director. State Wars will hold its event August 5-14, 2005. ?This is a great opportunity to showcase not only the Powerade Iceport but also the Cudahy area,? said Scott Branovan, Iceport President. "We're thrilled to welcome State Wars to the POWERade Iceport," continued Branovan.

STATE WARS SIGNS MULTI YEAR DEAL AT POWERade ICEPORT



Cudahy ? One of the country?s biggest sports event is coming to the Powerade Iceport. State Wars, the United States Roller Hockey Commission?s premiere event, has named the Powerade Iceport as home for its national tournament beginning 2005. This is a signed, multi-year arrangement that makes the Powerade Iceport the official home of State Wars.
?We?re thrilled to welcome State Wars to the Powerade Iceport,? said Scott Branovan, Iceport President. ?When people think of State Wars it?s something like the little league world series of roller hockey. These guys are doing it up right. The excitement, quality and competition is unparalleled.?
?The Powerade Iceport is the nation?s premiere roller hockey facility so it?s only natural that State Wars, the nation?s premiere roller hockey event makes its debut there,? said Jason Domitrovic, State Wars National Director.
State Wars offers youngsters the opportunity to compete with local players and represent their State in their own birth year. A total of fourteen divisions from each state will be selected to play in the tournament. With 31 states and twelve players per team, a total of more than 3,800 unique players ? plus their families ? that will converge on Cudahy and the surrounding area for ten days.
?This is a great opportunity to showcase not only the Powerade Iceport but also the Cudahy area,? said Scott Branovan, Iceport President. The Powerade Iceport features an on-site hotel, is minutes from the airport, eight minutes from downtown and numerous attractions. The facility features incredible amenities, including food court, viewing suites, children?s X-box gaming area, and wireless interactive kiosks. ?The first time a State Wars player puts on his custom state team jersey and steps onto one of the four NHL sized rinks at POWERade Iceport, they?re going to be in awe, we owe that to our players,? said Tim McManus, State Wars National Director.
?It's an opportunity for local youth to skate with others and experience the feeling of being an All-Star,? said Pedro Cancel, Co-Director of New Jersey. ?The honor of being picked to play for your state team at State Wars is not one that happens to just anyone.?
Already the excitement ? and rivalry ? is brewing. ?State Wars will showcase the best talent across every participating state, causing instate rivalries to join together to become the best team in the country,? said Mike Tefft, Co-State Director of North Carolina.

State Wars Hockey is pleased to announce tryouts dates for COLORADO. The State Tryouts for Colorado are being held at the NEXED INLINE ARENA in Colorado Springs, May 27-28.
We are very excited to be holding a state tryout in one of the most beautiful states in the country and one that has had exceptional growth in its roller hockey programs over the past few years.

We have also received tons of emails over the past few days from excited players, parents, and coaches from Connecticut, Maine, and Tennessee. All of which are looking for their home state to host tryouts for the 2005 season. We will keep you poster...

State Wars Hockey is pleased to announce a state tryout for Connecticut, the weekend of June 11-12 at the Z Rink in Glastonbury, CT. After weeks of exchanging emails and phone calls with many anxious CT roller hockey players and coaches, State Wars Hockey finally found the right spot to hold this tryout. We know that there are many great hockey players in the state of Connecticut and we look forward to their state tryouts.
