STATE WARS HOCKEY is proud to announce that the unveiling of its state of the art website will be on October 15th. We apologize to anyone that is having trouble registering for our mailing list, in order for the site to be completed many of the site programs had to be temporarily shut down. In the meantime, anyone looking to get on the mailing list may email to me there information at [email protected] and I will make sure that it is added to our database. Even though if you looked at the size of the mailing list we've already compiled, it's hard to imagine that there is actually a player out there not already on it !
On October 15th when www.statewarshockey.com goes live all of your STATE WARS questions will be answered. All players will be able to see all of the rules and requirements to play for their state team, the specific dates and location of their state tryout, and the dates and location of our grand event STATE WARS. Players can begin registering for their state tryout on October 15th. All tryouts will begin in 2005, with our first tryout being held Jan 21-23 in beautiful Hawaii (don't you feel bad for us). We do recommend that all players register early for their state tryout. Because of the amount of interest we have already received, we know that in may areas we are going to have to "close out" the tryouts at a certain point, we hope that everyone who is very anxious to play for their state team registers early and avoids this potential situation.
STATE WARS HOCKEY is pleased to announce that after careful consideration and reading many many emails, we have made the following changes to our age divisions.
1. There will now be an ADULT DIVISION - for all players
born in 1982 or before.
2. The 1987 birth year will have its own division.
3. The 1986-1985 and 1984-1983 divisions will be joint.
We thank everyone for their support. Thank you for your patience, we wanted to take into consideration tournament schedules for NARCh, USAHIL, AAU, TORHS, Coastal Cup, TopCat, 2Hot4Ice, and Tour Pacific Cup before we announced all of our tryout dates. STATE WARS HOCKEY supports the growth of roller hockey and we support all those who grow the sport!
