On behalf of myself and the rest of the players that made up this years K-TEK Pro team I would like to post a thank you to Nick Kondur and the K-TEK organization out of Denver. Nick has long been a supporter of roller hockey at the highest levels with his K-TEK midget and junior teams, and extended that commitment at the pro level by giving us a chance to compete at the Torhs and Narch Finals this summer. By providing the resources needed for putting together a top notch group of guys, we were able to give the defending champs Rink Rat at Torhs a hard fought game on their way to another championship and then bring home the elusive championship trophy in our first year in the Narch Pro division.

Some others who helped along the way who we would also like to thank are CCM, for providing the gear we needed to not only perform at the highest level, but look good while doing it. We got lots of great comments on the ?old school? look of our traditional jerseys and blue and white look, and the guys loved the gear. Also Labeda was there to take care of our wheel needs. HockeyMonkey.com helped with customizing the jerseys, skate mountings, and getting the equipment to the players. I?d personally like to thank CCM Heaton for the Healite Z goal equipment and nxi goalie masks for the great gear I used not only in these tournaments but also in winning the Gold medal at the world championships this year.

K-TEK will be around for another go at it next year and even at the upcoming Narch Winternationals. We look to build on our successes throughout the program.

Thanks,

Rob Laurie<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by RichardGraham on 08/04/04 02:05 PM.</EM></FONT></P>

Congrats Robbie. A successful team starts from the tender out. They have a good start with you in goal my man. I wish I could have seen some of the games. Give me a call later, I have some ideas concerning what we talked about last night. Peace out my west coast biatch.

Hmmmm, we all know "Dirty East", so "Dirty West" must be.....Hmmmm, from what I hear from my west coast homies, his initials must be GSC. "Jump in and help him out"?? Dirty's don't help out other Dirty's, that's how they become "Dirty" in the first place. Hello!

Because you have to be a Narch Sponsor to play in the Pro Division and Rink Rat did not have a sponsorship deal with Narch in the 2003-4 season.
