Yup, the location for the NARCH Finals is a dump. Darren and the rest of the staff should be embarrassed. The referee's are terrible, the place is filthy, the NARCH banners are too big for the building, so much so that 4 feet lay drapped on the floor, and the NARCH staff is in hiding. I kind of don't blame them. I would hide too if I put on an event like this. Mr. Goodwin is clearly out for his own gain in this venture. Congrats Darren, your rich. I hope you sleep well tonight. Thanks for embarrassing us in Cincinnati.

Hey Spider, ya got little hard on for NARCh? Banners too big for the building? That's bad stuff, no one will ever come back because of that. I was there and it was an incredible event. Bad refs? Never heard that before about a tourney. As I see it, NARCh had more teams than Torhs and AAU combined. Hope Daryn is getting like filthy Gates rich because he puts on a great event and is an awesome hockey player who loves this sport. As for the facility, very different and the staff was the most courteous and nice I've ever seen and the prices at the snack bar and bar were real fair. I liked that place.

Everyone has an opinion. I was giving mine. There has always been a standard for which an event like the Nationals was held to. NARCH did not meet any standards, as far as I am concerned. There is still one day left of the tournament, and all the booths are gone. There is nobody left in the "dump" but the teams playing. No excitement, no fans, no shirts or new products to look at. That's not a well run National. Your suppose to let everyone playing, everyone that has lined Daryn's pocket, enjoy the same perks, excitement and thrill of playing in the Nationals. At tomorrows mens platinum final, who's going to be there other than the two teams playing? That's a house league game. What, the mens platinum division paid less? No. They deserve the same respect as every division playing. What a joke this was. A complete waste of time. I feel dirty every time I walk in and out of that hole. I know, don't walk in then right? Well I paid for my ticket to fly here, certainly can't leave early. So I'm stuck here thinking, if Daryn was not in hiding, embarrassed, or just plain too busy driving to the bank depositing my money, I would tell all of this to his face. This will be my last NARCH final. Who knows, maybe next your, Daryn could charge say $1000.00 a team, and hold it at the local YMCA. Spread it out over 6 weeks, so nobody can watch other divisions play, and Daryn can hang out at the, oh yea, nobodys seen him, so who knows where he hangs out. Again, thanks Dayrn and NARCH for embarrassing Inline Hockey. Oh, by the way, the banner thing, come on, that doesn't look bad to you? Say you had never been to a national, doesn't that look a little tacky? Half a$$ed? Get your act together NARCH. Meet the standards we are use too.

SPIDERboy - You are such a wimp. Hiding behind this board and saying you would run your mouth to Darryns face. PLEASE!!! I saw him 3 times today. He was getting his hands dirty taking up the floor at the TOUR rink. Obviously you have no intention on confronting him and you must just be a big talker. Darryn is an upfront guy. He would talk to you about your issues.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO ANOTHER NATIONALS? TORHS, NARCh and AAU, ALL of them have the Vendors picking up their booth before the final games are played. Last year at JO's it happened. Eddie the TOUR guy was gone a day or so early. I dont remmeber if the quickchange guy left early or not. But at narch last year, they were all gone even in the TAJ MAHAL of buildings, TECO(Germain). And in St. Paul, the same deal. It isn't the tournaments fault, it's the Hockey Jocks they have hired to run the booths that are either playing in the Adult divisions or are more worried about hangin with the homies. You dont have a clue in blaming the tourneys.
Yeah the rink wasnt perfect but it more than adequately did the job. i wish it was cleaner but to say the narch guys were hiding, you have got to be stoned. I saw Jim Anderson, Garvey, Jason, Darryn, Jeff and Ryan everyplace I turned. why do you start such nonsense?

First off, IHC has a spell check feature. Use it or go back and finish the 12th grade. How's this, I went to my first NARCH national in 1996. It was held in Chicago. Adult bronze medal winner. Second, anyone who knows me, knows that I speak my mind and need not hide from the likes of Daryn. Everyone knows who I am on this board. So who's hiding? Obviously you read as well as you spell, both you can't do. My reason for the post is again, my opinion of the NARCH national. My opinion obviously is different from yours. I look for different things then you. Since 1996 I've won nationals at TORHS or NARCH in 3 different divisions. So I speak from experience. This was the worst national I have attended. Each time I have been in the building, I've asked to speak to Daryn. Each time I was told he wasn't around. Tomorrow I will try to reach him again. Teco was great, sure, but please, compare the two locations. This year was a step back. Way back.

Oh rat's out to get NARCh and Daryn, just loading up here on the board. Daryn's around all the time at NARCH, even saw him laying down the floor stuff the day before the start. You sound like a loser anyone would avoid.

Ok let's be serious now. The facility was more than a step backwards. I have been to plenty of Narch finals and to all the Torhs nationals and I would say this is the worst place either tournament series has held there nationals at. I can understand that Narch is not going to be able to out do itself every year but this place was not anywhere near the caliber that players and families have come to expect from Narch. I would rate this worse than the Bell Tire facility Torhs had there nationals in.
As for Daryn not being around, I would say for the most part he was not. I did see him on the last day taking the floor up. I did not see him any other day that I was there.
