The NHSIHA (www.expage.com/nhsiha ) is looking for both state and regional coordinators to develop a regional/state league for High School inline hockey. All interested parties should email us at
[email protected] with all necessary contact information so we can talk to you further. Responsibilities include ( but are not limited to )
1. Working with the local high schools within your region
2. Working with the inline rinks within your region
3. promote membership to each high school
4. handle most of the day to day paperwork within your region.
If anyone is interested in working with us on a "volunteer" basis until we get this going that would be appreciated. Again please email us at
[email protected] and we encourage both adults and college students ( graduate and undergrad) to work in conjunction with us.
Thanks,
NHSIHA

Hello NHSIHA. (http://www.expage.com/nhsiha)
I have visited your website for some additional info. It says nothing about 'who' you are, and where you are currently based out of. Your efforts are gallant but I think more info is needed, as people are skeptical in this industry, with the 'rise and fall' of league after league, to get involved with yet another organization.
I am really very busy all around and don't have enough time in my day to get involved with anything further right now, but would like to hear more about how your organization goes. My purpose in contacting you is mainly a simple suggestion; that you do some research on the CRHL (Collegiate Roller Hockey League) and also your unification with an appropriate rule book. Personally, my main interest in roller hockey currently, is on the collegiate and 'pro' levels, and the unification of that first. But I do feel strongly that the CRHL is the future of Roller Hockey on a Collegiate Level (potentially to be NCAA someday), and a feeding pool for 'elite' and potential 'pro' leagues.
I do feel strongly that we should and WILL be more connected with high schools, which is an eventual goal, so I only suggest that you research our League a bit. The CRHL has it's own rule book, and it is minimally modified from region to region across the country. It does not apply to the High School age group obviously, but is a good start for the unification of roller hockey.
I am a representative of the CRHL since they are our 'governing body', however, I am actually a Board Member for the ECRHA of the MAR (Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association of the Mid-Atlantic Region). I personally am located on Long Island and my Region encompasses a number of states in this area, with an offspring of Affiliate Regions.
Again, my point being is, please do some research on our Leagues, since it is high school students across America (enrolled in college) who will be joining our ranks, and are currently doing so at an alarming growth rate.
Thanks, and feel free to keep in touch.
