Colorado Outlaw Standout Sean Student Dies in Car Accident
Sean Student, leading point man for the Colorado Outlaws Midget AAA Minor team that took sixth place at Nationals last year and won the Rocky Mountain region, died Friday night, a passenger in a two car accident, in the rain, south of Denver. He was seventeen years old.
No details are known. Two other young people died, and a fourth is in critical condition. The driver of the other vehicle also died at the scene.
Sean was the teammate of skaters Evan Zucker, PJ Kavaya and Brad Ellis, and was on the other line making up the potent one-two punch of the Colorado Outlaw attack coached by Jaime O'Leary.
His Funeral is Thursday. Our prayers to his family, and special condolences to his Outlaw teammate and younger brother Ryan Student who now plays in memory and for his brother.
This was posted by Mark Ellis on another website that I felt needed to be transfered so that all of us who knew this young man would have knowledge of his passing.
Condolences to the Student family and friends. Sean was a very good hockey player whom I remember from a few years back. This is another young life that was snuffed in a vehicle. Condolences to the other families of the boys who were also with Sean. As with a child that passed a few months ago (Deebs Young) God was seeking his All-Star team and wanted Sean as part of that team. God Bless you Sean!
Sean has made a part of a special team
a line mate to many true friends indeed
Where age holds no restrictions and
talent and love are the true mission.
