Itech Goalie Gear

Hey, im lookin to buy a load of new goalie gear what i have in mind is the new itech 10.8 vamp series catcher and blocker, the 9.8 chestgaurd and 9.8 shorts, all Itech, ... ya i like itech gear ok!
Only problem is i can't find reviews for any of this gear. I've looked, am i lookin in the wrong places ...? maybe i dunno. But over $1100 is a lot to sink into gear if it turns out to be crap. Has anyone used any of this gear? or can someone point me in the direction of a review or somethin? PUH-LEASE?
Also do any NHL'ers use any of this gear?... just out of interest?

I buy my gloves from DonSimmons.com. I got my glove and blocker for $450 total, 3 years ago. Their brand is really awesome. Don't know much about Itech's gloves, only my mask is Itech, but look into DonSimmons before you make a decision...
