Third and Final Hockey Alberta In Line (HAIL) ?Summer Series? Tournament of the 2004 Season Taking Place in Sherwood Park and Regionals Are Coming Soon!
The ?Central` HAIL Summer Series tournament will take place in Red Deer June 4-6 and will feature 46 recreation and competitive/rep teams in the U8 to Adult group divisions. Kudos to Lori Irvine, Kelly Stout and Ray Robak of the Red Deer Inline Hockey Association for organizing what appears to be a first rate tournament.
The third and final HAIL Summer Series tournament hosted by SPINLINE (Sherwood Park INLINE hockey league) will take place at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park June 18-20. For more information on the ?North? event contact Colin Brown (780-446-8659; [email protected]).
The 2004 Alberta Regional Inline Hockey Championships Are Quickly Approaching! The Red Deer In Line Hockey Association (RDILHA) will play host to the eighth annual Hockey Alberta In Line (HAIL) Regional Championships July 2-4, 2004. This event is also the exclusive Alberta regional qualifying tournament for the North American Roller Hockey Championships (NARCh) being held in Cincinnati, Ohio, July 16-31. Last year?s event attracted over 300 teams. The Qualifier (competitive/elite) division at the Red Deer championships will available for all age groups (8 & under to Adult). A Challenger (recreational) division will also be available for three age groups (10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under) pending the number of teams. The tournament will feature a skills competition involving the fastest skater and the breakaway challenge (top goaltender and shooter) in each age group and division.
The entry fee is $500.00. Please note that the registration deadline for the Alberta Regional Championships is June 4, 2004 at 5:00 pm. Copies of the tournament entry form and other information are available for downloading off the Hockey Alberta website (http://www.hockeyalberta.ca - select the Development menu button and then In Line Hockey ? select Programs & Services and then look for Alberta Regional Championships (NARCh)).
