im gonna get a nu pair of skates soon, and am most likely going to buy ice boot and put the boot on my mission generator chassis i got at mo cos i like that chassis a lot. Am gonna get either the Nike V12 or Bauer Vapor XX but i dont no which one.
Are there many difference between the boots, or are they very similar being nike ownhs bauer n all. Im swayed towards the Nikes for purely cosmetic reasons but any opinions u guys have on either boot would b much appreciated
cheers

I personally would not throw your money away on the boots and them paying someone to take the chassis off and then adding your new chassis to them. I would seriously take a look at the Bauer 20-90's. I just bought a pair of these and have heard nothing but good things from distributors and reps about them. You can get them for around 300 or 320 depending on where you go.
I have heard much more positive things about the comfort of the Vapor 12's versus the xx's...lots of complaints about the xx's being uncomfortable as ice skates on another board. Look at the Nike HiHo's..basically the same boot as the vapor 12, but with vents for inline.

I have the V12s and I love em... The hardest thing is the tounge sticks into your foot down low so it needs to be trimmed... That was the only complaint I had about them at all...

See if you can find an older style Vapor 10. Got mine off of ebay for $220, new. Great combo. E-frames for $50.

thanks for the advice evry1. i ended up trying on an old model nike quest 1 inline skate to get an idea of the fit and fell in love wit the boot and the price. so i bought those. CANT use the rocker chassis tho put them on for my game and had to change halfway thru....will take some getting used too until i got the money for a sensor chassis to put on them neways.
