Hello. I was hoping to get some professional, or even semi-professional, advice on rink construction. I am attempting to put a proposal together which would outline the basic costs and options involved in laying down a suitable roller hockey surface. I was wondering what the basic price of the flooring and boards would be. I was also wondering if anyone could alert me to the benefits/drawbacks of an outdoor rink. Has anyone ever had success with a semi-covered outdoor surface?

I'd appreciate whatever info anyone can provide. Thanks.

Outdoor sucks- I used to play at a covered outdoor rink, and whenever it rained the high humidity would make the sport court floor SO slippery you couldn't play at all. It would suck letting mother nature dictate when your games are going to be.
