Hi Folks,
The Collegiate Roller Hockey Nationals are now taking place at the Wayne Gretzky Roller Hockey Centers facility in Upland, California, about 45 miles east of Los Angeles.
In Round Robin play, here are the latest results:
Mach 1 Rink
Missouri 4, Purdue 1
Boston University 4, Penn State-Altoona 4
Lindenwood 6, Texas Tech 1
Pittsburgh 5, Ohio State 2
Black Biscuit Rink
Michigan State University 7, Texas 2
Northeastern 5, Chico State 5
North Texas 5, Central Florida 4
Cal Poly Pomona 8, Delaware 5
Play is four eight-minute quarters on twin Sport Court rinks. CRHL big wigs in attendance include Marshall Dickerson, Aaron Haschel, Eric Haber, Jim Helmbrecht and more. The action is fast and the atmosphere is fun, so if you're within driving distance, I suggest you check it out.
Sincerely,

Lindenwood is a 4-year university in St. Charles, Missouri. The Lions are said to be a dark-horse team with a great chance to make some big upsets at the tournament. Lindenwood is the only Division 1 team in Great Plains Region history to go from last place to first place in consecutive years.

Where were ya rich? I was looking all over for you, but we apparently missed each other. I saw the RAV-4 with the IHC sticker...spiffy. Oh well.
To all of you that i DID meet(Al MacMillan, Huck, and that one cute girl with Al ;) ) it was great to finally some faces to the screen names. Ill see you all next season, either during cross-conference play, or at Nats!

Hi Jon,
You should have asked one of the CRHL guys... I was tucked away in the Gretzky office, using their phone line to get online :)
Sorry I missed you.
(What I want to know is what the heck Al was doing with my girlfriend!)
Congrats to the CRHL on another job done well. No major sponsorship and they pull off an event of this caliber -- IMPRESSIVE! And no arrogant attitude to go with it. Wow. What a shocker for this industry.

Dude, you're gonna get me caught.
We all had a good time out in Cali, even though we didn't get in quite as many games as we would have hoped.
Congrats to all of the winners, esp. Eastern Michigan.
As for us, Purdue, Michigan, and Ohio state......apparently in the Midwest, OT stands for Out of Tournament.
