I have a set of wheels that are micro bearing 688 and want to replace them with standard 608 wheels and bearings. Is this possible to do on skates without replacing the axles or chassis? Should there be anything I should look for?
I have a set of 2001 Mission Proto VS skates with the Generator chassis. Thanks

The inside diameter of the bearings are the same. So you won't need a new chassis or set of axels. You may need to get some new spacers depending on what kind of axels your runnin. There are a few different kinds of spacers for standard bearings. Self centering, threaded, and non-threaded. Most of the time when you buy a set of bearings they come with spacers. Usually the non-threaded aluminum kind.

All you need is non-threaded spacers and new bearings.
