I have a pair of size 9 CCM 652 ice hockey boots. Would I be able to put a CCM Externo Outcast chasis (from size 9.5 skate) on this boot. If so, how?

yes, go to your local pro shop or go to a shoe repair shope they should be able to remove the rivets and old chasis and replace them with the new stuff.

Yes, you would. Although using a size 9½ chassis on a size 9 boot is not the best combination. In fact it would be better to use a size 9 chassis on a size 9½ boot...
I'm using CCM 1052 ice boots with Red Star E frames. Works great!

Speaking of Red Star E-Frames. Mine busted a while back and now I use missions generator chassis. Dont know if it was me or the chassis but she busted. I accually welded it back together it worked but looked ghetto.

hey man ghetto is rockin', I personally love my tour G-80's, but even more than that I love the labeda chasis.
Probably would be the same chassis, as most chassis are only made in 3 sizes, and each are used to fit a range of boot sizes. Like small for 6.5 - 8, medium 8.5 - 10.5, large 11 - 13, or similar.

Funny, my E frames have busted too. I've had them for a long time so they are due for a change, though.
Both frames have cracked at the metal that connects the two main parts near the back of the frame. It's like a small bit of the metal is missing - there's a gap. Are yours the same?
Did the welding work perfectly? How did you get it done?

Ha that is funny. My uncle accually owns a tool and die company and he welded it for me. They work fine and perform as they did before. Just dont look close up.
