Here's to wishing Eddie L, a fast and speedy recovery. Eddie, clearly one of the top goalies in the league, suffered a terrible injury this past Sunday during the Thunder game. Ed, you are a class act and I wish you all the best. Let's see you skating soon my man.

Hey guys, Listen what happened this weekend was terrible. I wasn't there but obviously talked with Lee, Darrell, Paul and Al about the incident. All I can say is thank god it turned out ok. Eddie has been an opponent, a teammate and a friend for many years to allot of us Boston Guys. I was sick when I heard Lee telling me the story for the first time. Eddie is a big part of the Rink Rat family and were all happy he is improving.

I think it's time we also start to understand the importance of getting enough fluids Before, During and after we play. Dehydration is something far more serious then any of us understand. And we almost had a terrible incident with a friend to drive the point home, We all play Roller hockey in places that for the most part are "not"air conditioned. Some are but the majority aren't. Every team that plays the game should start driving home the importance of hydrating our bodies while we play.

We were very lucky this weekend, It really puts things into perspective, I can tell you that everyone that witnessed the event and helped Eddie will be forever changed by the events of the past weekend... Were very relieved that everything has apparently turned out ok..

Take care Eddie
