This is for ALL of you who are parents of or who are female roller hockey players that are not afraid of travel, love the game, (regardless of ability) and are interested in advancing the opportunities for girls/women only teams/players.

My name is Phil Steur. Along with Boo Parrish, I coach a girls program out of Huntington, W. Va. Our 12u Girls team won a gold medal this summer at the Junior Olympics. Our 17u Girls won the USAHIL National Championship in 2002.
If you are interested in playing in the AAU Disney Classic in 16u Girls or the AAU Junior Olympics in St. Louis in 12/14/16u girls please get me your contact info. We still have a few openings available on our teams.

We are also holding a Camp in Huntington, West Virginia in preparation for the Junior Olympics July 23-27th. This camp is for our girls and boys teams. The clinic is being instructoed by Peter Dale and USA Clinics. Peter is the Team USA Men's Coach and a 4 time Player of the Year in professional roller hockey leagues. You can read more about Peter and his staff and their credentials/accomplishments at www.usaclinics.com.

The exposure a young women will receive playing with Gear is paramount for those who would like to play with TEAM USA in 2005.

Please send your contact info to me at [email protected] if you are a female player or parent of one who would like to play on an all girls team.

Boo and I also have people in the industry who want to see Women's hockey advance to the Olympics and have the "position" to help. A Women's Olympic team in the near future is NOT a pipe dream.

That is correct; Lisa Henning, Stacey Puckett, Kelly McCormack, Kaitlyn Morel, Christina Moorman, katie Fischer, Megan Gault are the basis for our 14/16u team. We also have a 12u team, a 19u team and may even try and put together a Women's team this year.

I know you play for the Tsunami out of Carolina Sportsplex( do the Hauer boys still play with your team?), my son played on the Snake Eyes out of Lexington, Ky last year in 10u and also won Junior Olympics Gold in 8u Competitive the year before at Dream Sports; if you are interested in also playing for an allgirls teams, send me your contact info.
