To tell you the truth I actually don't wash mine. (Superstition) However I do use Febreze to keep the other guys' from complaining. My guess would be a mild soap and water hand wash with hang drying if you are going to do it.

I used to wash my old Easton's in the washing machine with just a touch of detergent. They were of all synthetic construction so there was no problem with ruining them that I could see. The only drawback was that the palms were usually a bit stiff the first time I used them after a wash but that went away as soon as they started to get damp again. Good luck.

My son's gloves smelled so bad, that I decided to wash them BEFORE throwing them away. (I didn't want the neighbors to get offended while they waited for the trash truck!) They held up great... and yes, they were leather! (Although I probably wouldn't press my luck twice!) I used cold water, a little detergent, and set them outside to dry.
For the future, I put a box of "bounce laundry pads" in his hockey bag.... he now he puts them in his skates and gloves immediately. Bounce works great!
