come on where is everyone here!!! i know it;s early but what's up with everyone from piha??? some exciting games so far... nasty boys and lunatics rivalry hotter then ever, even though both teams took a few classless penalties in the game...
typhoon, once again the team to beat
Rinkrat Minutemen look like a strong expansion with 2 decisive wins so far, including an 11-3 spanking of last seasons runners up, the nasty boys...
Breakaway will be real good with players like JD, Denton, and Cianfranni playing for them
John P is playing for the growl this season, man thats a long ride from home johnny, hopefully he can spark some life into them for a playoff run
anyone else got any opinions, comments? any one from the mid west league have anything to say about playing this season under the PIHA? anyone hear anything on the Extremes! team? are they any good?
good luck to all this upcoming season.

Who are you? Classless penalties??? Please don't post if you don't know what your talking about.
Trying to get people to talk about the league is great, but you need to watch what you say.
thank you in advance,
Lunatics

Hey Lunatics,
Chill for a second. He asked for opinions, gave his, and didn't name names. His post was completely fair -- it was his opinion. Let's save our anger for people who step over the line... there are plenty of those! /wtimages/icons/wink.gif

Apparently he's not the only one who saw some 'classless penalties'...
I've heard from a few people that the Lunatics .vs. Nasty Boyz game was filled with cheap shots and classless BS...

First, the post was not angry Richard.
The following posts make my point even more. "I heard" that there was cheap shots and classless penalties. In fact, that was not the case at all. That is why I know that Bottomline was not in the building.
My point is this...if you do not know about something you shouldn't post on it. It's that simple.
I am going to defend both, the Lunatics, the Nasty boys, as well as PIHA as a whole. When people post false information in a public forum and it subsequently takes away from what everyone has done- then a response is warranted.
I never comment on anything in here because of all the BS that posters like these start, but if involves us then I guess I have to.
thanks again in advance,(Richard: please note no anger)

The more you make an issue of it, the less it goes away. I like all this piha talk early in the season, albeit not in the most positive light. If you want to make your pt lazer or Rock, sign your name at the bottom, and your credibility will jump out faster than the team name. Looking forward to seeing you boys in our neck of the woods tomorrow, 530 at the Plex in Feasterville. First up, it is the rematch of the championship from last year. The Scrappers team has a new look ( 8 new faces) and have something very much to prove this year. The lunatics have the usual suspects, silva and gartske to name a few. SHould be a great game. As for the Pro Game, at 7PM, the Growl are improved in the scoring category with scorer up and down the lineup. I am sure Mazer and his crew will be up to the challenge of this highly skilled anticipated game.
DBERK out...
PIHA has finally come back to the Sportsplex...

Hi LunaticsHockey,
Sorry to ascribe anger to you when it wasn't there. All that I was trying to say was that I felt the post was pretty innocuous. I can't tell if a poster has been at a game or not, and frankly, I don't know how you would either, unless it was an empty house.
Nothing personal. Just calling it as I see it. /wtimages/icons/smile.gif

He is a fan, he is part of your income. Don't whine about it.
These 'bs posters' are the few that show up to these amatuer events, be thankful!

First I have no problem signing my name. I always put Lunatics Hockey because my posts are usually involving something on the organizational level...hence Lunatics Hockey. But if signing my name makes my comments anymore valid than so be it.
Was Bottomline there? What was classless?

well i was there, spearing, attempt to injure on both sides of the rink, checking from behind... yeah those are classless penalties in a non checking league....

Bottomline,
Were you there? Doubt it. There was no spearing. And the other penalties were a reflection of the officiating, so I'll leave it at that. And you haven't even mentioned that, which if you were, I am sure would have been.
I have looked at your posts and you never have anything good to say. So why don't you come to me personally and we can talk about it some more. Or at least sign your name.

wow even classier, threatening one of your few fans on a hockey message board... anyways, i was asking for opinions on what people thought about it, i didn't ask for your interpretation of the game, and it's funny how players always seem to blame the refs for how the games are played?? i, for one, think it's funny anyways...

First, I definitely was NOT threatening you. However, I was providing you with an opportunity to talk about the
game and not on the message board.
Second, who was blaming the game on the refs? I surely was not, but if you were in fact at the game you would have understood what I was talking about and surely would have said something about it.
I am still available to speak to about that game. And I guess I will call you bottomline when we speak because I still see no name posted.
thanks again,
Dave Rockhill
