The NJ Bullets defeated the Hartford Thunder Sat nite 8-4. The Bullets were led by 4 goals by Mike Francis and 3 goals by Andy Billheimer. The Bullets defense was anchored by goaltender Mike Bonadonna who stopped 50 of 54 shots. Game 2 of the best of 3 series resumes Sun at 11:00 am. The final game (a mini game) will follow if necessary.

Congratulations to the Hartford Thunder who won the series 2-1. In the second game, Hartford won 7-3. In the mini game that followed, Hartford won 1-0, and advance to the second round of the playoffs. Good luck to the Thunder the rest of the way in the playoffs.

If I've been told correctly...Kringer at Marple and Thunder at Boston. Why I mix up team names and team places I don't have a clue. The play will always be at the highest seed's barn.
