Somebody PLEASE help us! Come build an inline hockey facility in the Pensacola/Ft. Walton area. There isn't a sufficient facility in the area (we have to play at part-time skating rinks) and a bunch of players are suffering!!! Anyone else from this area on this board?

Same thing in NE Florida(Jax). Playing on a roller skating rink is dumb(even when I blew out a ceiling light a few weeks back blocking a shot).

WHATS THE PLAYER POPULATION LIKE IN THAT AREA? There has to be a sufficient amount of players in the area playing to support a facility, thats the biggest problem with building a rink, the amount of business it needs to stay alive. Theres always people willing to build, just a matter of whether or not its got the backing of the people to support it in the long run.

There are lots of military folks (mostly northern imports, no doubt) that play in the adult leagues, all of the high schools have teams, and the youth crowd is huge! Lots of money is being thrown into the programs. Inline has grown exponentially along the Gulf Coast in the last few years and the facilities are lagging far behind.
