Well MLRH is done for the regular season, and I would like to congratulate the league on the improvement in officiating quality this year. Last night's game between the Firebirds and the Gladiators was called as well as any game I have seen this year/season. In general, other than maybe two games of the eleven games I saw this year, the officiating was much more consistant than last year.
There was only one game that I witnessed where the officiating may have affected the outcome of a game.
The biggest complaint was that some of the newer refs and linesman were not really familiar with the variations of MLRH rules, and some erroneous calls were made. Only one game I saw seemed to get away from the officials but all in all a pretty good record, and a huge improvement over last season ..at least in this viewers opinion.
Any other viewponts on the season...in opposition or accord with this?
