I'm looking for a specific model of Jofa shin guards. I don't know the model number and have been told that they have been discontinued. What I do know is that they are Jofa's, I've seen them in black, on the front of the shin guards it says "Anatomic System Design" and "Dual Cap Diffusion". They're different from most shin guards in that the top protective piece that's above the knee extends 6 or 7 inches up the thigh. If anyone knows the model number of these shin guards, or better yet, knows someplace that still has them in stock, please let me know.

The black Jofa shinguards are the middle/lower of the line ones they make (I believe they are the 4000 series). They are still being made, and you should be able to fine them at a number of online retailers.

Thanks for the help but it's not correct. I know that it is not models 6090, 6060, 4000, 3000, 2000, 1000. These shin pads are older than that and are not being made by Jofa anymore. They retailed for approx. $125.00 when I saw them last.

Wow- $125?? That's higher than the top-of-the-line 6090, and i've never seen a shin pad by them that was black in color and a top-quality pad. Hopefully someone will have info for you.

I have a pair of these shin guards. You are correct. At the time they were "top of the line". I paid close to $100 for them about 7 or 8 years ago.

I just got done checking them out but I can not see a model number. They do have the " Anatomic System Design" and "Dual Cap Diffusion". They are black and they have the extension piece that goes up the thigh.

I am always checking out the new equipment and I have not seen these shin guards in any stores in at least 6 years.
