I decided to market my players that are nominated in case you are not familiar with them or did not get a chance to see them play:
On Offense:
Tony Silvestri - Currently 3rd in scoring. 2nd for Offensive players (soon to take over the number 1 spot!!!) Tony is also leading the league in goals per game (min 6 games) and he is the spark behind the Storm's success. Tony should be the MVP of the league!
Brett Wickman - Currently in the top 20 in scoring. Brett has scored most of our game winners and important goals of the season....If there was a +/- stat, I am sure Brett would be tops on the board! It would be an insult if Brett did not get the All-Star award!
On D
Jeff Goulet - Flat out the best true all around defenseman in the league. He would be leading in pts for defense, but for some reason CJ is listed as a D (he played O both times we faced him)...so Jeff is number 2 for defenseman scoring. Jeff controls the game and is the best "quarterback" I've seen this year.
So there you have it...my biased view on how you should vote for the All-Stars....Others I would include.....CJ on D and either Mike, Matt or Roger for Goalie...wait a sec..what am I thinking....for D I would "write in" either Jay McGeown, Eric Sarao, Paul Rogers or Darrell Interbartolo and for Goalie I would have to take Eddie Lyonnais.
Still think they should have a best "heavyweight" category...for this one, Hands down...I select:
Paul Belleza
Until the next time,
Marty

For goalie I would have to say Mike Viscuse hands down.. He has played unbelieveable the two games against us. Including this past game where he made 51 stops and these 51 stops were not just dump in's from half court. These were onetimers, breakaways and point blank stops. My vote for goalie is no doubt Viscuse.
Unfortunatly Eddie Lyonnaise has only had a few starts because he would be right there with Viscuse. Ask any of the Marple players and I'm sure they would tell you the same thing. Eddie also had some unreal stops during the Marple game, leaving the Marple players looking at the ceiling in disbelief.
Darrell Interbartolo
Boston Storm Player/Coach (Regg Dunlop)
both of these goalies absolutely stood on their heads saturday night. it was a great game to be involved in except for the unfortunate injury. get well soon ronny.
