Mission D-1 or D-2?

How big of a diffrence are these two skates?...Is the D-2 a quality skate or are the D-1's that much better than the D-2's? Does anyone know when new skates are due up to hit the market?

new models should be out already. D-2 is definitely a good skate. Main differences are solely in boot construction.

Another difference would be the D1 chassis is 7000 series aluminum while the D2 chassis is 6000 series aluminum.
