I recently moved to Bethesda, MD and was searching for ice & roller hockey leagues in the MD, DC, North VA areas. Anyone one know of decent adult gold or silver leagues near these area? Any help would be great...

Check out Splash and Play at www.potomachockey.com other then that, the Ice Gardens in laurel has a good league, but is only in the summer.

What up B? How's it going down there? We actually might be working a deal with the shoe box to make it more for hockey. I guess they are finally relizing that hockey brings them money, not the teen concerts and teen night BS that they wasted money on before...

Planet Splash 'N Play has got to be the worst rink I have ever been to. It is tiny, the surface sucks and it is an all-around dump. If you are in Bethesda, it is worth it to drive the 45 mins to Frederick.

The floor in Frederick has gotten very bad, it is warped in many places, and has cracks and holes in it now. I play at Planet Splash and Play also, and it probably has the better floor now. Frederick will start a new league season around the beginning of February.

There is a new Facility at the Dulles town center BUT it is SQUARE. It is also THREE (3) Basketball courts when not being used for Hockey. There are a ton of lines on the surface and the boards are normal 1/2 ply-wood. Rumor had it that this place was going to be awesome, I guess not...
