Looking for a little advice from anyone who has done this before. The Growl will be traveling to Chicago in May and we are looking into long term bus prices. If any owners have advice for who to contact and what to expect finacially i would appreciate it. I have a few contacts for short term buses but nothing for an entire weekend. So if anyone could share there experience with me I would be in your debt.

The bus line we used for the last couple of seasons didn't charge us anything extra for keeping a bus overnight as long as we covered the driver's room & meals (be careful, our driver could EAT!). I do not know if that was the norm or not. Since we used them the entire season, they may have been nice. But I did price up and back vs the overnight and the prices were always the same.

Keep in mind that depending on the bus line, they may have to use 2 drivers since Philly to Chitown is 11+ hours.

You may want to check with a travel agent as I was able to get some pretty good deals on air travel by taking a group of 20+. You gotta put it all on one CC, and you have to rent vans at the destination, but.... it might come out close to the bus cost. If you don't have 20, open it up to player family members.

Hope it helps!

Hey checkout a company called the BUSBANK search for them on the web and they can help you out majorly.

I appreciate both of your thoughts on the matter and will look into both arrangements. I'll keep you posted, thanks again!
