I'm lookin to get a new shaft and I guess I just wanna see what people reccomend? I was thinking about a Z-Bubble, cause everyone I know that has one loves them! But I have also seen my friends break a few, or I was thinking about an Innovative shaft or something. I basically think I wanna stay away from tapering shafts and what not - too pricey for me. And I've already got an Easton Typhoon. Thanx guys

I have used TPS Genesis for 2 years now. It is a great shaft, in my opinion. I use one of their more flexible models, I believe it's a 90.

Inno Novius shaft, or a Mission Flyweight :)

I love Z bubbles too, but I break them too easily....

the new XN10 is the best stick on the market, performance-wise.

also a new response + is coming out...

excellente' i love those sticks, especially the messier curve either right or left handed...its all good when u can shoot both ways and are ambidexterous. just the accuracy isnt as good left yet as the right. anyways, im definitely all over the new xn10...hott damn!
also, just out of curiosity, i currently use bauer composits and love them....ive used like 5 pairs of them, but im looking in the direction of the new bauer vapors, definitely the top of the line...has anyone tried converting them over to rollers, or has bauer even made an attempt yet to bring out a inline vapor boot??? anyone with any help, please send it my way...thanks guys..

There is a Vapor 6 and 10 roller boot, but they're not the quality of the ice boot.

I know of someone who has a pair of Vapor XX (best ice skates out right now) with a red-star e-frame on them.

It's an expensive way to go though, ice boot + roller chassis + labor + wheel/bearings/spacers. I'd know, I dropped over $600 on my Mission Purefly boots and everything else, right before Winternats last year.

But they've lasted longer than any other skates I've ever used :)

The new Nike Boots like the Hi Ho and the Roller Daddy are the same last as some of the Vapors, like the V12 and V15 so I think you might try those. They have just started shipping these skates so they may be a little tough to find yet. Other than the cosmetics and some ventillation, I believe the Nikes are virtually the identical boot. When I talked to Bauer/Nike Customer Service, they said they were identical and from the same factory.

I have a friend who plays MLRH, Torhs and Narch Pro who has a conversion done with some Vapour 10's and loves them...Labeda sensor chassis I believe. I believe he shelved a pair of high end Missions in favor of these composites.
