Sting @ Thunder
Bullets @ Gladiators
Ottakringer @ Wolves
Snipers @ Firebird

Some big games this weekend. As always ill stay away from our game out of respect for all. HOME "ICE" is huge in our sport and i think that will come into play once again in week 9. I like the Birds this weekend by 3. Marple should never have trouble winning at home and i beilive that trend will continue, I bielive the Sting - Thunder game will be a goodie but unfortunatly for the Sting, they have the Thunder at Z-Rink which isnt an easy place to win. Thunder by 5. Good luck to everybody this weekend and PROVE ME WRONG underdogs. Later Skater -Kos

Knowing what i know about rosters this week should help the Bullets but i still feel we will have enough, us by 4.
Im hoping the Sting show up like we know they can, but the Thunder by 5 is how I see it.
All im saying on this one is Kringer by 2
Firebirds are a hard working team, birds by 6

Its just not fun unless you stand in front of it!

Sting over the Thunder, 9-5, containing Johnny, results in an easy win for the Sting.

Glads over the Bullets, 10-1, Glads too tough at home.

Ottakringer over Wolves, 7-3, Returning players spells trouble for the Wolves.

Snipers over Firebirds, 6-4, Toss up here. Snipers get late empty net goal.

Like Yings said we have 2 teams so we will be even more depleted. Yings did you see that schedule, nobody is going to make it back. Get mt 2 way # from CJ and give me a call i need to talk to you.

Its just not fun unless you stand in front of it!

yeah, i saw. i can't be there for at least our first game and maybe our second. i will be there for the night games definitely. i'm trying to get a hold of CJ now. i swear it's easier to get a hold of the president. can't wait for this weekend.

I'm skating now but with a brace. It don't feel to bad but I'm just out of shape bad. I take one lap and I'm suckin wind...lol. Anyway I think you guys will be fine in Pro. You guys have alot of talented players down there. I see a Mud Cat... Mud Cat finals. What are you guys going to do as far as the MLRH game on Saturday night? I know most of you guys play on either of the Mud Cat teams. I know you still have a pretty solid squad without all you guys but wow that's an aweful lot of firepower to be missing.

Ok, I gotta disagree with Roger (just cause)....

Thunder over Sting, 9-6, sets new MLRH PIM's Record...

Glads sneek past the Bullets, 11-9, with an empty netter, watch for Francis in this one.

Wolves over Garden State in another good game 9-7.

Snipers over Firebirds, if Snipers have the full team, 7-6 with Fleury and Spain the stars.

Then maybe you should pass the torch to some of the younger guys in the area steve-O :). Ill share my picks...
Thunder 13-5 over sting, with mooers getting tossed in the first half.
Glads over bullets 10-6.
Snipers over Birdies 8-3, birds just have no defensive scheme whatsoever.
Oats over wolves, 9-8 thriller. I believe in Koz.

Thats my story and I am sticking to it. Have a good weekend boys...

New PIM record eh? lol..... this should be fun.

Call me crazy, but I'll take the Bullets, 9-7 over the glads this weekend.

'Kringer getting guys back, play a close one and win 7-5

Snipers over the 'birds 8-3

and I won't say anything about our game :) Should be fun to watch though!

Comp me a beer at Circus Circus. I'll pick it up at the front desk.

So Moo, did you atleast last the first half?

Thanks for the vote of confidence for the birds Yokes.....glad they could live up to your expectations....the addition of Rod Riso on defense and some diligent defensive zone practice paid off, although in fairness to the Snipers the game was not as lopsided as the score. Shots were only 35 : 31 in favor of the Birds.

Yokes was one of the FEW that thought the Birds could win. Boston is going to be a real test but once a team starts the "winning" ball rolling it's sometimes hard to stop. Give 'em a good game, Birds!
