The tryout for team Breakaway on Sunday Dec.7 will be held as scheduled at 10AM.

Though we are not resceduling, if anyone feels that traveling is a safety issue, please call the rink on Sunday at: 856-428-9393 and leave a brief message. We want to see everyone interested and we will try our best to do so.

The roads should be good to go by this evening and we will open the doors at 8AM. We are expecting a large turn out, so show up early if you can and take your time to be safe.

Unfortunately the restaraunt will not be open, but there is a dunkin donuts and a subway within 2 miles.

Hope to see you there.

Thanks for clarifying that for me Matt. I did post that the resturant would be open. But now that that is clarified I'll just say that the Dunkin Donuts is just around the corner from the rink and the sub way also. New places for those of you who haven't been to the Coliseum in a while. C-Ya in less then 24 hrs. By the way I was just out in the snow and it's not bad just cold!

Hey Yokes the tryouts were very good and the goalies were ok. You would of made a difference. There were 5 goalies on Sunday and 2 were young guys. The other 3 had problems keeping up skating wise with the younger goalies but did look more solid in net then them. I overheard that there were a few more there on Monday I didn't go Monday because I couldn't make the 5 hour trip again but the guys that were there on Sunday were ok also. A lot of younger players showed up and this made it hard for the older guys because yes they are faster then us but when it came to the 3 on 3's you could see where the older more skilled players showed their stuff. A few guys that were there from Pro Teams was Brian Tro. from the Wolfpack and some big guy who I recall seeing with the old 99'ers a long time ago named Rick. They were 2 positive forces on Sunday. Sources said that Monday night a few other players showed up like Frank McMannis, JD Davison, Heenan, Matty Denton also skated, Naz was there and sources said he looked good with those guys. Now you take all of the above names and throw them on a line up card and hey I predict a Championship! Can't wait till the results are up on the tryouts. I know that some of the players that were there on Sunday had traveled from all over. One kid from Wiss. and nuts like me from Virginia. I didn't like the waiting game to get into the rink but once in it was well worth the trip to New Jersey. Hopefully I will be making that trip more often.
