Just to let everyone know that the Crystal Palace in Las Vegas, NV is under new management. Dave Morgan is no longer running the rink. This should be a good thing but I am not sure how the new management will be yet. Dave left with leagues still in play and the new management is going to let us finish those seasons out. They plan on making some changes and the one everyone hates is that there will no longer be offsides. Most of the guys think there will be cherrypicking like crazy. I tried to explain from my expirence that the no offsides makes you play better defense and opens up the game. Some of the changes they are making i do not like but maybe they are good things. We shall see. I wanted to give you guys this update.

Hey, are they keeping the open glass window in the back of the bar?
I heard they were renovating that, and putting a full wall in and taking out the window :(

I know from personal experience that there is no longer a bar. I had to get my beer from under-aged fans in the stands.

You have to walk around the building to get to the bar and you can no longer watch games from it because the took the windows out.

Hi John,
Thanks for the heads up. I saw the motor scooter shop and figured the bar was gone. LOL.

From what I understand, under NV State law - the bar and the rink have to be separated by a wall (rather than a window) now that the owner of the rink and the bar are different people.

that blows.... that was the best part about the bar, that you could sit there and watch games while you ate/drank....

Looking at the TopCat schedule, Patty's not even coming to Vegas in 2004. The big tourneys is Vegas are fun but they've got nothing on Patty's events. Guess I'll have to find a team to play at one of her tournaments at Bladium. They can still dance on the bar there!
