Yokes my man. It was good to finally meet up with you. The hype about how good you played in the SpeedHockey game was no joke. You got skills my man. Great game Saturday. The best part was the goalie talk after at the bar. It was nice to talk with another league goalie and get your impression of the game. We goalies need to stick together. Tell me what you think of ice vs. inline goal. If there are any other goalies out there, please chime in. Everybody else, butt out. This is for the tenders.

Let me know if you tried the RinkRat wheels also. I'll try and speak to Mike about getting you the other two. Later.

Rog ive never played Ice so i cant even comment on that. Ill be putting on the wheels this weekend and ill let you know. Ive told you this and ill tell everybody else from a goalies standpoint this is the most talent the league has had in years. Its more fun to me when i get to play against better players, i.e. the Speed Hockey game was awsome because look at the roster I faced. Ill be playing in my first TORHS in Dec. and im hoping that playing in this league is getting me to the level ill need to play there. Obviously the talent will be higher there but almost every team here has one or two players from that series so it says alot about this league.

Its just not fun unless you stand in front of it!

Having just started playing ice in the past year (and inline in the past three), I think I have to say I like ice better. Getting from side to side is much easier - the sliding issue, of course, but the nets aren't pegged down in inline, so you can't get the push across the crease from the post like you can on ice. Plus, you don't overheat like you can in a 75+ degree inline rink!!

Of course, I could do without the ice spray in the eyes :)

I do miss playing MLRH, but driving 5 minutes to the ice rink down the street is much better than driving many hours each weekend!!
