The 2003 PIHA Organization of the Year Announce their tryouts for the 2004 season.
Date: Saturday, January 10th
Time: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Venue: The Sportsplex (rink 1)
and/or
Date: Thursday, January 15th
Time: 8:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Venue: The Sportsplex (rink 1)
Cost is again $75 for one or both dates.
Includes Tryout jersey and 2004 AAU Insurance (mandatory).
The Growl after a terrific rookie season, made many off-season changes to their management/ownership group. This season ALL PLAYERS are required to particapate in tryouts. Owners have been changed to three non playing people. The changes were made to gaurentee a fair and equal opportunity to all those who come to tryouts, as we hope to offer the best products possible. We will select the best 32 players at tryouts, 28 skaters and 4 goaltenders.
This is a tryout for both the Growl and the Scrappers. Minor league eligability has changed this season, no longer is there a 2 game cap for minors to move up, it is now unlimited until the playoff cutoff date.
